I. The Word of God

Holy Scriptures

The Bible is God’s written Word, given by inspiration. It is the trustworthy record of His will and the standard for faith and life.

II. The Godhead

The Trinity

One God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons.

The Father

God the Father is Creator, Source, Sustainer, and Sovereign of all creation.

The Son

God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ, truly God and truly human.

The Spirit inspired Scripture, draws people to Christ, and empowers the church.

Creation

God is Creator of all, and the seven-day creation established the Sabbath.

Made in God’s image, we are dependent on Him for life and breath.

God has a people who keep His commandments and hold the faith of Jesus.

By immersion we identify with Christ’s death and resurrection and rise to new life.

The Lord’s Supper

A shared participation in the emblems of Jesus’ body and blood.

Spiritual Gifts

The Spirit gives every member gifts for ministry and mission.

Scripture affirms the prophetic gift; in the ministry of Ellen White we recognise it, always tested by and secondary to the Bible.

The Law of God

The Ten Commandments express God’s character and remain His standard of love.

The seventh-day Sabbath, Saturday, is God’s memorial of creation and a gift of rest in Christ.

Stewardship

We are trustees of our time, gifts, bodies, and means, returned to God in worship.

Marriage and the family are gifts established by God at creation.

Christ’s Ministry in the Sanctuary

Jesus ministers as our High Priest, applying His finished work on our behalf.

The Second Coming

Jesus will return literally, visibly, and gloriously. The blessed hope of the church.

Death & Resurrection

In death we rest, unconscious, until Jesus calls the sleeping to life at His coming.

The Millennium

The thousand years between the resurrections, when God’s justice is made plain.

The New Earth

God will make all things new, and dwell with His people forever.
